ABRAHAM LINCOLN SCHOOL IS A PRIVATE, CO-EDUCATIONAL SCHOOL WITH A ROLL OF 446 STUDENTS AGED BETWEEN 4 AND 18 YEARS.
The school, which was founded in 1917, and owned by Central Romana Corporation and is situated in its own pleasant grounds within the Central Romana complex in the town of La Romana, Dominican Republic. Central Romana Corporation operates one of the world’s largest privately owned sugar mills as well as the luxurious Casa de Campo hotel complex.
The school enjoys outstanding resources. As well as having all air-conditioned classrooms, the school has administrative offices, a
spacious hall with stage, a library with over 20,000 books, 28 class-rooms, 3 science laboratories (chemistry, physics and biology), 2 computer rooms, an art room, a ceramics room with kiln, a music room, a staff room, 2 playground areas, a baseball field, a soccer field, and a volleyball and basketball court.
Admission is subject to approval by the School Board and to academic evaluation in English and Mathematics.
